This reset blends nutrition, targeted skincare, professional facials, and mind-body rituals, because true skin healing happens when we care for the whole self — body, skin, and soul.
This summer was one of the most stressful periods I’ve had in a long time — and my skin let me know it.
Stress has always been deeply connected to my skin health, and as a holistic wellness coach, I knew my body was speaking to me. Breakouts, irritation, and dullness weren’t just surface issues; they were my body’s way of saying, “Slow down. Pay attention.”
So, I decided to create a 3-Week Skin Reset Ritual, not just for myself, but to share with anyone ready to heal their skin from the inside out. This reset blends nutrition, targeted skincare, professional facials, and mind-body rituals, because true skin healing happens when we care for the whole self — body, skin, and soul.
This was me, on September 5th.

Why I Chose a Holistic Approach
Skin issues are rarely just skin deep. They’re often a reflection of stress, diet, and nervous system imbalance. During my reset, I worked closely with Antonia Schreiber at The Windham Spa, an incredible holistic aesthetician who completely understands how to support the skin’s natural healing process.
For the first three weeks, I went for weekly facials to help my skin purge and reset. Now, I will see her once a month to maintain my results.
If you’re serious about skin healing, find a practitioner who sees your skin as a part of your whole ecosystem — not just something to fix.
My Daily Skincare Rituals
Consistency is key. These simple rituals became my daily act of self-care and healing.
Morning Routine
-
Soothing Balm Cleanser – Begin with dry hands and a dry face. Massage in circular motions, then add a splash of water to turn the balm silky and rinse clean.
-
Ageless Serum – Hydrate and renew with antioxidant-rich botanicals.
-
Eminence Tinted SPF – Protect your skin while giving it a natural glow.
Evening Routine
-
Eminence Acne Advanced Foaming Cleanser – A deep, yet gentle cleanse to clear away impurities.
-
Spotless Serum – Targets inflammation and helps balance problematic skin.
-
Eminence Facial Recovery Oil and Skin Renewal Oil (alternate) – Locks in moisture while calming and repairing overnight.
Twice-Weekly Detox Masks
I alternated between:
-
Bentonite Clay Mask mixed with Raw Apple Cider Vinegar.
These masks became sacred rituals. I’d light a candle, play calming music, and let the mask work while I meditated or journaled.
Whole-Food Meal Plan
Your skin is a reflection of what you feed it. I focused on protein, fiber, and whole foods to reduce inflammation and stabilize blood sugar. Here are some examples of what I focused on eating:
Week 1 – Reset & Rebuild
Breakfast: Coconut Yogurt with organic berries, raw granola and raw honey + warm lemon water.
Lunch: Sardines or Mackrell, mixed greens, roasted sweet potatoes and a tahini dressing.
Dinner: Wild salmon, kale salad, quinoa + sauerkraut.
Week 2 – Nourish & Strengthen
Breakfast: Greek yogurt, chia seeds, blueberries, drizzle of raw honey. Hot Lemon water.
Lunch: Kimchi whole wheat wraps with cucumbers, carrots, hummus.
Dinner: Grass-fed beef stir-fry with vegetables and forbidden rice.
Week 3 – Glow & Sustain
Breakfast: Overnight organic and glyphosate free oats with coconot milk, flax seeds and organic berries. Hot Lemon water.
Lunch: Baked Sweet Potato with ground beef, sauerkraut and any veggie you desire.
Dinner: Baked chicken thighs, roasted Brussels sprouts and acorn squash, wild rice.
EVERY SINGLE NIGHT: Ginger, Dandelion Root and Mint tea blend.
Affirmations: Speaking Love to Your Skin
Healing your skin starts with the words you speak to it. I began each day by looking in the mirror and saying:
-
“My skin is healing and thriving.”
-
“I release stress and welcome balance.”
-
“My skin reflects the love I give myself.”
This practice shifted my mindset and helped me view my skin as a partner in my healing, not a problem to fix.
Gentle Lymphatic Massage
No tools are needed — your hands are the perfect tools for this practice:
-
Apply facial oil.
-
Sweep from the center of the face outward toward your hairline.
-
Work along the jawline, under eyes, and across cheeks.
-
Finish by gently sweeping down your neck to encourage drainage.
This helps reduce puffiness, boost circulation, and support the body’s natural detoxification process.
Meditation & Calming the Nervous System
Stress triggers breakouts and inflammation. To calm my nervous system, I practiced 10 minutes of meditation each day:
-
Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take deep breaths.
-
Visualize your skin glowing with light and vitality as you inhale.
-
Release tension and stress with each exhale.
This daily ritual didn’t just improve my skin — it brought a sense of calm and grounding to my whole being.
Final Reflection: me on September 24.
This 3-Week Skin Reset wasn’t just about clear skin. It was about reclaiming my connection to myself.
-
Weekly facials with Antonia supported the deeper layers of healing.
-
Whole-food meals nourished my body from the inside.
-
Gentle skincare rituals and affirmations nurtured my spirit.
- Noticing the environment around me, who I spent time with and how my relationships affected my inner peace.
When your body, skin, and soul work together, the results are more than just physical. You don’t just glow — you thrive.
If your skin is calling for attention like mine was, trust that it’s speaking to you. Healing takes time, but with love, patience, and the right rituals, your skin can truly reset.
