I started buying this when it was still called Lip Stick, and I wound up buying several when the company switched over to Soothing Balm Stick. They are similar in formulation, and glide well over the lips, without feeling sticky or waxy. Both have good staying power, so I don't need to reapply constantly, and my lips feel protected through most of the night if I coat them just before bed. My lips have not gotten chapped, even in dry winter weather, since I started using it. Other reviewers have complained that there is less of a tingly feeling with the new formulation, but I prefer it, as balms that tingle usually have menthol or other unnecessary ingredients. Overall, I think the original formulation -- minus the tingly feeling -- might have been just a little better in terms of spreadability than this one, but the current one is quite good. I do wish Mask would stop reformulating everything, though. The products that first brought me to the brand either don't exist anymore (RIP, Unfiltered Cleanser), or the new formulas are not as good as the old ones. Don't mess with success, Mask.

I miss the old formula
Disappointed to see the formulation has changed from the “lipstick.” This new version is definitely more waxy feeling and not as tingly on the lips. I loved the slick and glossy finish from the old version, it felt so much more hydrating. Please go back to the original formula❤️❤️

a new must-have
I'm absolutely in love with this lip balm. I think the smell is amazing and I love slightly buzzy feeling it gives my lips when I first apply it. As someone who has begun going down the rabbit hole of reading ingredient labels, I'm also very happy to have something for my lips that is made using products that I don't have to worry about exposing myself to. 10/10 would recommend.
