Microcurrent Protocol

Performing microcurrent with a sheet mask can enhance the effects of both the mask and the treatment, as it helps infuse the active ingredients deeper into the skin while toning and lifting. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

What You'll Need:

  • MASK Sheet mask of choice
  • Microcurrent device (with probes or gloves)
  • MASK Water-based serum of choice

Steps:

  1. Cleanse and Prep:

    • Begin with a thorough cleanse of the face to remove any makeup, dirt, or oils.
    • Optionally, apply a water-based serum or gel to increase conductivity and provide additional benefits.

  2. Apply the Sheet Mask:

    • Carefully apply the conductive sheet mask, ensuring it fits smoothly against the skin with no air pockets. The mask should be very moist for the microcurrent to work effectively.

  3. Prepare the Microcurrent Device:

    • Set your microcurrent device to a low or medium setting, depending on the client’s comfort level and experience with the treatment.

  4. Perform the Treatment:

    • Starting at the jawline, glide the microcurrent probes over the mask, working in upward and outward motions. Make sure the probes maintain contact with the moist surface of the mask for consistent conductivity.
    • Move to the cheeks, working from the center outwards, then glide over the forehead and around the eye area (if the mask covers it). Focus on lifting motions along the cheekbones and brow area for a sculpting effect.
    • Ensure even coverage by working section by section, spending about 2–3 minutes on each area.

  5. Adjust for Hydration:

    • If the sheet mask starts to dry out during the treatment, lightly mist it with a water-based toner or essence to maintain conductivity.

  6. Remove the Mask:

    • After the treatment is complete (typically 10–15 minutes), carefully remove the mask. Massage any remaining serum into the skin for added hydration and absorption.

  7. Follow with Skincare:

    • Complete the treatment with a moisturizer and SPF if performing during the day, or a nourishing oil or night cream for evening sessions.

This method allows the microcurrent to amplify the sheet mask’s effects, promoting deep hydration, lifting, and firming for an enhanced facial experience.
